We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Accountancy and Sundry Income teams. Whether you are leaving college, employed and looking to boost your skills, unemployed and looking for a job or simply looking for a new challenge, an Apprenticeship will set you on the road to career success. Apprenticeships offer many advantages over other, more traditional, methods of learning. As well as working towards a nationally recognised qualification, you will also be developing skills directly relevant to your chosen career.
This is an excellent opportunity to combine on the job training, guidance, and support with taught distanced learning modules to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to gain the Association of Accounting Technicians Apprenticeship – at Level 2 (12-month contract) or Level 3 (18-month contract) dependent on the most suitable applicant.
Please note that the Apprenticeship will be delivered through online learning and self-study. The equivalent of one day per week will be given for apprenticeship study.
The successful candidate will have a willingness to learn about accountancy through a work-based training programme and have 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above (to include Maths & English). Preference will be given to someone who lives or works, or has studied in the New Forest District.
Due to funding criteria, we are unable to accept applications from candidates who have already achieved a degree level qualification in this area.
