Parking Enforcement Assistant ( 2 placements available)
Marsh Lane Depot, Lymington.
37 Hours per week
Shifts will be worked – ranging between 8.30 – 16.30, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday- Thursday
New Forest District Council is proud to be taking part in the new Kickstart Scheme. The scheme provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24-year olds who are on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.

What is the role of a Parking Enforcement Assistant? *
* Outside working is required in all weather conditions, walking around and assessing enforcement sites and gathering evidence at scenes.
This placement will involve travelling around the district, locally on foot or with a colleague in a Council vehicle in a Covid secure work bubble.
Full Driving License required

How does it work and why should you apply?
Jobs are minimum of 6 month PAID placements, but some may have more permanent potential.
You cannot apply directly with The New Forest District Council for any of these positions.
To be considered, you will need to speak with your Work Coach at Jobcentre Plus. Let them know you are interested in joining the council for your Kickstart placement and they will be able to give you the full job details and the reference number you will need to apply for your chosen position.
You will need to contact your Work Coach in the usual way, via email, phone or via your Universal Credit journal.
