Salary: Band 5 – 7 Career Grade – up to £36,123 per year
Essential User Allowance: £1,239 per year paid monthly
Hours: 37 per week
New Forest District Council is the largest housing provider in the District with over 5,000 Council dwellings made up of houses, flats, hostels and schemes providing extra care. The Council is determined to minimise fire safety risk to our tenants and fire safety is at the very fore of what we do, as a Housing Authority. We are seeking 3 highly motivated Building Safety Inspectors to provide a comprehensive fire and health and safety function, ensuring legislative compliance within our housing stock.
This is a key role within the service and under the leadership of the Asset Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the following areas: -
Training will be provided to develop the successful applicants into all aspects of this role and to become certified fire door inspectors.
